World's 'most advanced' wind turbines tested in Blyth
New 'super' wind turbines with blades three times the Angel of the North鈥檚 wingspan will now be tested in Northumberland.
The National Renewable Energy Centre at Blyth, will test turbine blades - up to 180m long - after winning 拢86m in funding to extend its facilities.
