Bradgate Park given National nature reserve status
A popular Leicestershire beauty spot has been declared a National Nature Reserve to protect its geological and archaeological "treasures".
Bradgate Park has been given its new status by Natural England.
The 830-acre park was recognised as part of a project to celebrate King Charles III's coronation last year.
James Dymond, the Director of the Bradgate Park Trust, told Ady Dayman what the status means.
