In January Storm Henke battered the East Midlands and badly affected the Soaring Dragons dragon boat team.

The a nationally successful team based just outside Loughborough had their boat The Major swept away by the floods. It was last spotted on the Trent near the City ground and hasn't been seen since.

Through the help of fundraising and insurers the team bought a new boat from Germany, allowing them to race again, but the fundraising efforts didn't stop there.

Kevin Ncube's joined them as they attempted to break a unique world record.
