Actor and writer Ruth Jones has spoken to 大象传媒 Radio 4鈥檚 Womann鈥檚 Hour about having to keep the new Christmas Day special of the much-loved sitcom a secret.

The show鈥檚 stars and creators - Ruth Jones & James Corden - had wanted the new 大象传媒 One episode to be a surprise for audiences, and couldn鈥檛 say anything until all the details were confirmed.

However, news of the Christmas special was leaked to the press, with Ruth telling Nuala that she thought it was 鈥渕ean鈥� for someone to do that.

Speaking about her beloved character of Nessa, Ruth said she will always be with her.

She also shared what it鈥檚 been like making her West End musical theatre debut as Mother Superior in Sister Act the Musical鈥� from audiences dressed as nuns to anxiety dreams featuring Maggie Smith鈥�
