Actor Dionne Brown has taken on the title role of Queenie in Channel 4’s new series adapting Candice Carty-Williams’ bestselling debut novel.

Dionne joined Nuala McGovern on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour to discuss what it was like working with a cast and crew of so many women, and working with an intimacy coordinator whilst filming sex scenes.

She also discussed Queenie’s emotional journey through the series and how the show helped her reflect on her own identity whilst filming.
