Will war in Gaza influence voters in Leicester?

We're now into the second half of the General Election campaign and it's reported Labour is directing its activists to help campaigning in seats like Leicester East.

Although Labour won by a majority of six thousand in 2019, it's thought that this and other seats with large Muslim populations may be disaffected with the party's position on the war in Gaza.

The ongoing conflict is also a hot topic in Leicester South, where our religion editor Aleem Maqbool sent this report from.

Ady Dayman also spoke to Dr Amina Easat-Dass,a Lecturer in Politics at Leicester's De Montfort University, about how the ongoing conflict in Gaza could influence how some people vote in this General Election.
