Grandson reunited with lost Tigers memorabilia
A Leicestershire pensioner, whose grandad was a Leicester Tigers legend more than a century ago, has been reunited with all his his rugby-related memorabilia.
Sid Penny made hundreds of appearances at Welford Road at the turn of the 20th Century, but no one in the family knew what happened to his keepsakes.
His grandson Brian Penny says it was years before he knew anything about his illustrious ancestor. He's now managed to find and buy all his grandad's keepsakes - including Tigers and England caps - from an online auction site.
Brian's been sharing his story with Ady Dayman.
