South Africa’s Lloyd Harris on Wimbledon comeback
South Africa’s Lloyd Harris described his return from wrist surgery in 2022 as the "hardest challenge" of his career, and he produced another fightback on the opening day of Wimbledon 2024.
Harris, who has had to qualify for the event, won in five sets against American Alex Michelsen, coming back from two sets down and trailing 8-5 in the tiebreak to win his round one match.
The 2021 US Open quarter-finalist spoke to Sport Today's Shabnam Younus-Jewell on his round one match, his change in mentality and his love for English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.
