Jamie from Thurrock is a finalist in the Make a Difference Awards bravery category for 2024. In February this year, Jamie was filming at a flooded road near Ingatestone when he spotted a driver in trouble. Jamie decided to risk his own life to rescue a man who was trapped in his car up to chest height in very cold water.
