Bradford Council says the general state the of city centre roadworks, and their impact, has been discussed at a meeting. It says talks with local businesses are ongoing.
But the authority also insists, issues 鈥渂eyond the council's control鈥� are contributing to the lower overall footfall, adding that it is currently 鈥渦nable to offer compensation for disruption to trade, caused by the construction.
