We continue to celebrate the Make a Difference Awards here on 大象传媒 Radio Leicester.

Over the last few months we've received hundred of nominations for the incredible people that make our area a better place to live.

And now it's finally time for you to get to meet them all.

This week, you'll be meeting the nominees in our all new Animal category, which celebrates an animal that improves the life of people in our area, or those working with animals to improve their welfare.

Ash Field Academy is a special place, providing education for children with complex physical and medical needs. But part of the magic is thanks to a very special dog - Bella the Jackapoo. Matt Smith went to meet the team.
