大象传媒 Radio Leicester's Make a Difference Awards are back.

Over the last few months we've received hundred of nominations for the incredible people that make our area a better place to live.

And now it's finally time for you to get to meet them all.

This week, you'll be meeting the nominees in our all new Animal category, which celebrates an animal that improves the life of people in our area, or those working with animals to improve their welfare.

Ted is a special dog that helps the school day at Ravenhurst Primary pass with a smile.
He sits with children when they're reading and helps others who are struggling with their emotions.
Ady Dayman went along to surprise Ted in assembly to let him know he is a very good boy.
