Euros final: England fan diverted almost 300 miles
Molly Thompson is an AFC Bournemouth fan who grabbed tickets to see England versus Spain in the Euros Final in Berlin on Sunday night.
Her route to the German capital was less than straightforward. When her flight from Southampton Airport was cancelled, she hailed a taxi to Bristol airport in order to fly to Parma di Mallorca. Molly's connecting flight to Berlin was subsequently cancelled, at which point she managed to book herself onto a flight to Cologne.
A few hours on the train saw her arrive safely at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, ready to cheer on England as they vied for the trophy.
Molly spoke to Steve Harris the morning after the final, ready to make the journey home.
