Charlie Boy's Angels are finalists in the animal category of the Make a Difference Awards for 2024. This is given to an animal that improves the life of an individual or group of people. It can also be awarded to a person or group of people working with animals to improve animal welfare

Charlie Boy's Angels in Southend was set up in memory of a dog who was killed, trying to protect his owner who was attacked when they were sleeping rough.

Lynn vowed to never allow that to happen in Southend again...
