An Leicestershire art teacher has made it her mission to paint every one of the county's 310 churches.

Hayley Fern began capturing the churches across Leicestershire in watercolours during the school holidays in 2022.

Since then, she has painted pictures of 79 of the buildings in her local diocese to raise awareness of their beauty.

Hayley explains to Ben Jackson how the idea of doing this first came about.
