Loughborough graduate to row to South America
A Loughborough university graduate hopes to become a record holder for youngest person, and first woman, to row unsupported from Europe to South America.
Zara Lachlan will be rowing 3,500 nautical miles from Portugal to French Guiana in October.
She has been trained on land by a team of coaches, but will be rowing solo and unsupported once she is on the ocean.
Zara explains to Ady Dayman that she hopes to encourage people to do things you're scared of.
