Simone Biles is ‘the best she’s ever been’
Simone Biles’ former teammate Aly Raisman says the American gymnast is “the best she’s ever been” after inspiring the United States to victory in the women's team gymnastics event at Paris 2024.
Victory in the All-Around Team final was Biles’ fifth Olympic gold, but her first since Rio 2016 after she pulled out of a number of events at Tokyo 2020 to protect her mental and physical health.
Raisman – who is a three-time Olympic champion including with Biles in the team event in 2016 – says she has been “blown away” by her former teammate.
The six-time Olympic medallist also tells Sport Today’s Adam Samuel how the US women’s team is “changing gymnastics”.
