Olympic Refugee Team's Cindy Ngamba has become one of the faces of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The now 25-year-old reached the quarter-finals in the women's 75kg boxing at the Paris 2024 Olympics, and could become the first ever Olympic Refugee Team athlete to win a medal at the Games.

Ngamba moved to the United Kingdom aged 11 as a refugee and she is unable to return to her native Cameroon due to her sexuality - homosexuality in the country is punishable with up to five years in prison.

Following a difficult time at school where she struggled to adapt, boxing became Ngamba's outlet when she found Elite Boxing gym in Bolton in the North West of England, aged 15.

Sportshour's Christian Allen went to visit her and her coach at her gym before she headed out to Paris.
