Actor Amanda Abbington joined Anita Rani in the 大象传媒 Radio 4's Woman鈥檚 Hour studio on Friday.

She spoke about her experience on the 大象传媒 TV show Strictly Come Dancing - including the behaviour she claims occurred on set by her dance partner - and the subsequent fallout.

A spokesperson for Giovanni Pernice said: 鈥淲e are cooperating fully with the 大象传媒鈥檚 review process鈥� and 鈥渨ill continue to respect the integrity of the investigation and believe it is the right forum for all the evidence to be reviewed.

鈥淕iovanni refutes any claim of threatening or abusive behaviour, and having provided the 大象传媒 with his evidence, is confident that the review will prove this.鈥�

His spokesperson adds that, 鈥淎s part of the evidence-led review, the 大象传媒 has shared the allegations and there are none, nor any evidence, that resemble Amanda Abbington鈥檚 numerous and variable allegations.鈥�

A 大象传媒 spokesperson said: 鈥淎nyone involved in a complaint has a right to confidentiality and fair process and therefore it would be inappropriate to comment further on individuals. However, when issues are raised with us we always take them extremely seriously and have appropriate processes in place to manage this.鈥�

Amanda also spoke to Anita about being back on stage in London in a play called, When It Happens to You.

Amanda plays Tara, a mother who is desperately trying to hold her family together after her daughter is brutally attacked.
