A Leicestershire man suspects a lightning strike caused severe damage to the front of his property.

John Owens, from Fleckney, has shared photos of the damage done by what he thinks was a recent lightning strike to his driveway last week, and described a 25-yard-long "chasm".

Insurers are to assess the damage this week.
