I was hit by a tree in Ashdown Forrest
70-year-old Caroline Leaf and her husband, Kenneth, were walking in the Ashdown Forest, when they were hit by a silver birch tree being felled by conservators.
She was left with a brain injury, unable to speak and function as she once could.
The Conservators of Ashdown Forest have admitted breaching health and safety laws and have been fined 拢8,000.
Caroline explains to Marcella Whittingdale what she remembers of that day.
