Swimming the Channel, one eye blind
A Leamington woman could be about to become the first blind woman to swim the English Channel.
Melanie Barrett is a double Paralympic champion, 6 x world champion and a world triathlon champion, she's also blind in her left eye after she was born with congenital toxoplasmosis.
In 2023 she was the first blind person to swim across Lake Geneva.
Melanie spoke to 大象传媒 CWRs Vic Minett as she gets ready to swim the English Channel.
