Tatjana Smith: Medals, retirement and becoming South Africa鈥檚 most decorated Olympian

South Africa鈥檚 most decorated Olympian Tatjana Smith is 鈥渞eady to embrace鈥 what鈥檚 next after announcing her retirement from swimming.

Smith won gold in the 100m breaststroke and silver in the 200m breaststroke events in Paris to add to the gold and silver at Tokyo 2020.

Her four Olympic medals make Smith the most decorated South African Olympian in history, matching fellow swimmer Chad le Clos鈥 tally of four, but with two golds compared to le Clos鈥 one.

Smith reflects on her success in Paris with Sportsworld鈥檚 Lee James, and also what鈥檚 next after announcing her retirement.
