'Carers are a really important voice'
This time next week we'll be celebrating our Make a Difference awards – recognising the people in Leicestershire and Rutland who go above and beyond.
We’ve had hundreds of nominations - and over the last eight weeks you've heard the stories behind the finalists.
For our final week, you'll meet the nominees in the carer category. This is awarded to someone who improves the life of an individual or group of people through their helpfulness, compassion and support.
For over 50 years Raj Gill-Harrison has been a carer. But now by using those experiences she is helping support other carers to find her voice. This is her story.
