Leicestershire athletes gear up for Paralympics
Paris has promised a Games to remember as it gets ready to host the 2024 Paralympics.
Wednesday's opening ceremony at 19:00 BST will be focused on the Place de la Concorde, with the first of the 549 gold medals to be awarded the following day.
A team of 215 athletes will represent ParalympicsGB in the French capital with a target of between 100 to 140 medals set by UK Sport. More than 30 of those 215 athletes will have trained at Loughborough University in the build up to the games.
