'I get to be myself - authentic and true'
Thousands are set to march through Leicester in a free celebration of diversity and inclusion.
Leicester Pride will mark its 16th year on Saturday with a parade starting from Humberstone Gate from 12:00 BST.
The colourful 1.7 mile (2.7km) procession will head along Gallowtree Gate, Horsefair Street, Hotel Street and past Leicester Cathedral to Jubilee Square, before heading up High Street to the Clock Tower and on to Belgrave Gate.
For one Leicestershire 21-year-old, it's a particularly special weekend - as Ellis Nettleton, a trans male from Earl Shilton, takes part in the festivities.
It's the first time his auntie will have seen him since his mastectomy, and Ellis told 大象传媒 Radio Leicester's Kevin Ncube what he's most looking forward to at Pride.
