75 years in Ulverston to come to an end
The Pharmaceutical firm, GlaxoSmithKline, has confirmed it's shutting its factory in Ulverston next June.
The site has been producing an antibiotic for a Swiss-owned company, but GSK said in 2021 it was likely to close in 2025 when the contract ceased.
About 100 people are thought to affected by the closure.
