Portsmouth Mum campaigns for justice after daughter鈥檚 death

Sharon Holland, from Portsmouth, is one of the finalists in the Bravery category in 大象传媒 Radio Solent's Make a Difference Awards for 2024. This Award is for people who have shown outstanding courage, defiance and duty in the face of danger, fear or difficulty.

Sharon is calling for perpetrators of coercive control to face manslaughter charges if their victims take their own life. Sharon's 23-year-old daughter, Chloe, tragically took her own life after a year of torment and coercive control from her ex-partner.

Sharon has been speaking to 大象传媒 Radio Solent's Bob Diggles.
