Ashby couple's 'massive' 1,500mile cycle challenge
A couple from Ashby are back home celebrating their remarkable 1,500 mile 'Rome2Home' cycle challenge.
Ange and Richard Bebbington set themselves the challenge in support of the charity 'Wishes 4 Kids'.
Their journey began in Rome on Thursday, 22nd August, cycling through 36-degree heat along the Italian coast, past iconic landmarks such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and over challenging mountain passes commonly used by professional cyclists.
Their journey concluded at Zamani鈥檚 Restaurant in Ashby, where friends, family, and supporters gathered to celebrate their incredible achievement.
After a few days recovering they've been catching up with 大象传媒 Leicester's Ben Jackson.
