A Rhino that lives in Liverpool?
Amara, a young rhino living at Knowsley Safari Park, broke her leg earlier this year, posing a serious challenge for her keepers.
At just under two years old and weighing 126 stone, her injury required urgent attention, but no one had ever performed such surgery on a rhino before.
A team of specialist surgeons was brought in for what is believed to be a world-first operation.
Due to the lack of precedent, the experts had to approach the procedure as if she were a horse. Thankfully, the surgery was a success, and Amara made a full recovery.
