Leeds United to expand capacity of Elland Road
The plans would also see the ground modernised to meet UEFA Category 4 regulations for "elite" European stadia. The capacity of the new Elland Road would be the seventh-largest of any club ground in the country. The stadium has been the team's home since Leeds United was formed in 1919.
