Just too big for Bexhill
Residents are frustrated that weight limits in the Old High Street are being ignored and it's an accident waiting to happen.
George Carden reports.
We asked East Sussex County Council for a statement. Here's what they told us:
We have noted residents’ concerns over heavy vehicles entering Bexhill High Street. Although the weight restriction was authorised by the county council via a Traffic Regulation Order, the police are responsible for carrying out its enforcement.
Sussex Police haven't got back to us, neither have Stagecoach South East - who run buses along the street.
