Owners, coaches and management: The all-female team
Not many, if any, sports teams in the world are fully owned, managed, and coached by an all-female team. Well, New Zealand women's basketball team BNZ K膩hu have changed that.
That鈥檚 after Jo Caird, Jody Cameron, Paula George, Rachel Howard and Dani Marshall became the co-owners of the club, which represents the Auckland and Northland regions, just days before the start of the new season.
Jody Cameron is not only one of the new co-owners, but she is also the team鈥檚 head coach and she tells Sportshour鈥檚 Caroline Barker about the impact they鈥檙e hoping to make and how she juggles co-ownership and being head coach.
