Young Londoners trying to make emojis more inclusive

Emojis are used to convey all sorts of situations and emotions - representing all sorts of things and people with a range of skin tones and styles.

Of the almost 4,000 emojis in use, none have afro hairstyles.

A youth group in east London have created new designs of a variety of black hairstyles, which they hope will be added to the selection currently available.

Ayshea Buksh went to have a look.
