There are calls to crackdown on professional dog walkers with licenses to limit the number of dogs that can we walked at a time.

Councillor David McGregor, Brighton & Hove City Council鈥檚 chair of licensing, said: 鈥淲e are currently conducting a review of our approach to professional dog walking and general dog control with the intention of developing a long-term strategy. There is growing evidence of a need for more effective regulation in this area and our licensing team are currently scoping out options for this. In the meantime, any applications for our voluntary scheme will be processed as usual.鈥�
