Rutland humanitarian aid worker returns from Gaza
David Anderson from Rutland is a UK-Med humanitarian aid worker who's spent the last decade in some of the most challenging environments.
He's been on the ground in Ukraine to build pop-up clinics for displaced people whose homes were reduced to rubble. He's responded to a cholera outbreak in Malawi, an earthquake in Morocco and the Ebola Virus outbreak in Sierra Leone, always with the aim of doing the utmost to help local people.
David has just returned from Gaza where he's been setting up field hospitals for the injured. He told 大象传媒 Leicester's Summaya Mughal of the challenging conditions there.
