Athletes shocked by Commonwealth games exclusion
The line-up of sports included in the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow has just been announced, and it's a stripped-back programme compared with previous years.
Ten sports have been dropped from the roster after Glasgow stepped in to host, after the Australian state of Victoria pulled out due to rising costs.
Fans of Rugby sevens, Cricket, Hockey, Table tennis, Squash, Badminton, Beach volleyball, Diving, Non-track Cycling and Rhythmic Gymnastics will be disappointed.
Local professional squash player George Parker told Ady Dayman what it means to his sport.
