'I won't let other women go through what I have'
A pioneering Leicestershire midwife is being honoured at the Pride of Britain Awards being screened on television.
Agnes Nesbitt developed the Born Whilst Sleeping programme at the Leicester Royal Infirmary drawing on her own experience of the tragedy of stillbirth.
When Agnes Nisbett went through the heartbreak of stillbirth in 1973, her tiny son was quickly wrapped up by a midwife to be taken away, in accordance with the usual practice at the time, until Agnes stopped her.
Agnes told 大象传媒 Leicester's Ady Dayman of why her experience made her want to help others.
