Search continues for rescued tortoise's owner
A Sleaford vets practice says it's received calls from as far away as London and Scotland after it took in a tortoise which had been rescued from a recycling centre in Grantham.
It's believed it was brought in among a consignment of waste and went through the mechanical sorting process before being spotted by staff at the plant.
Pee-Wee, as the vets have named the reptile, is microchipped but no further details were registered.
