Anna Maxwell Martin: 'There’s a lot of stuff that comes with grief’
How can we deal with grief and loss?
Actor Anna Maxwell Martin, who is known for her roles in Motherland, Ludwig and Line of Duty, joined Nuala McGovern on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 4's Woman's Hour and discussed her experience of this.
Anna’s husband, the director Roger Michell, died suddenly in 2021. She told Nuala that she was in a state of shock after his sudden death, but felt she needed to ‘keep the motor chugging on’ to protect their children. She also lost her father Ivan when he was very young.
She was on the programme to talk about her role in the true crime drama, Until I Kill You.
