DNA helped me find my GI Dad
'Terry鈥檚 GI Dad' is the title of a new documentary featuring a local man and his search to find his American GI father and family.
Terry Harrison is one of an estimated 2,000 children born to African American fathers and British mothers during the Second World War.
The documentary follows Terry from his Leicester to South Carolina on his emotional quest to trace his GI dad and learns about the lives of African American soldiers based in Britain during WWII.
Terry's been telling Kevin Ncube more about his journey.
