National Insurance rises and the NHS?

GPs, care homes and hospices all say they're deeply worried about the rise in employer National Insurance contributions.

The NHS and rest of the public sector are exempt from the rise, but that doesn't apply to private care homes and hospices which provide NHS services.

There's also confusion over whether or not GPs will have to pay the tax increase. The Chancellor says she's given the biggest hike in funding for the NHS since 2010.
