What is farmwashing at supermarkets?
Vet Dr James Greenwood investigates 鈥渇armwashing鈥, a practice that sees supermarkets label imported products from overseas to make them look like they鈥檙e from local famers.

In response to this film, Tesco told us that the names of its brands represent the quality specifications they contain, and that all packaging clearly displays the country of origin.
Tesco says it is proud to be British agriculture鈥檚 biggest customer, supporting thousands of British farmers providing quality, affordable produce year-round.
It says it is the biggest buyer of British blueberries, and tries to source from the UK when in season.
