How answering the awkward question about money could help in sport
How much money do you earn? It's a bit of an awkward question, especially if you had to reveal the answer in public, but could doing so help level the playing field in the sports industry?
The "SayThePay" campaign is designed to encourage the sports industry to open up about what it pays its staff.
The idea is the brainchild of former Italian international goalkeeper Arianna Criscione and Preeti Shetty, a director at Premier League club Brentford, who tell Sportshour’s Caroline Barker how revealing wages publicly could have benefits, particularly to people who have traditionally been underpaid.
