Number 9 Derby Controversy
A football match between Stourbridge FC and Halesowen Town, which is known as the Number 9 Derby due to the bus route that connects the two towns, will have a reduced capacity crowd due to safety issues at the War Memorial Ground. Stourbridge Football Club have initiated legal proceedings against Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council, who are the landlords of the ground in Amblecote. The Council say they are unaware of any legal proceedings and are keen to talk with the football club about the terms of their lease and 'maintenance obligations'. 大象传媒 Radio WM's Steve Hermon has more details on the issues at the War Memorial Ground.
