Sycamore Gap sapling coming to Herefordshire

The legacy of the iconic tree will live on, near to the Biblins bridge across the Wye, close to Symonds Yat and Ross-on-Wye.

49 saplings from the cut-down tree will be distributed across the country.

It's part of the National Trust's 'Trees of Hope' initiative, which will see 49 saplings from the cut-down tree distributed across the country, with communities helping the Sycamore Gap live on in a unique way, a year after it was felled from its spot in a dip in Hadrian's Wall.

Biblins Youth Campsite was chosen in Herefordshire, as Mike Lawrence has been telling our reporter Sophie Millward.
