DIY SOS has put out the call to Leicester for a very special project.

In February 2025 Nick Knowles and the team will be transforming the home of Isla from Aylestone, who was born with Mandibuloacral Dysplasia which makes her bones brittle and causes the seven-year-old to age prematurely.

The appeal asks for tradespeople, volunteers and suppliers to donate their skills and supplies by emailing DIYSOSLeicester@southshore.uk

Isla's family were nominated for the project by Nicola Chippendale. She told Ady Dayman why.
