Worcestershire villagers 'still without power'
Digby Aston, at his home near Bewdley, has had no power for 48 hours, in the aftermath of Storm Darragh.
He tells Elliott Webb how calls to the National Grid went unanswered over the weekend, with neighbours desperate to restore electricity to their homes.
A spokesperson for National Grid Electricity Distribution told ´óÏó´«Ã½ Hereford & Worcester: “The adverse weather has made working conditions for our engineers challenging but since the start of the storm, we have restored over 1.5million properties."
They say they're thankful to customers in the Midlands for their patience and appreciate long waits can be frustrating.
In regards to where Digby lives, in Buttonoak, National Grid say the power outage has been caused by 'a fault with the overhead network'.
