Worcester man: 'How I lived as a Syrian in exile'
Ahmad Dabche's nephew and brother-in-law were tortured to death by the brutal Assad regime, and was at risk of punishment if he ever returned to his homeland.
The 44-year-old father-of-four is praying he can finally have a normal life, who came to Worcester in 2006, working as an engineer. Ahmad ended up on a 'wanted list' because he undertook humanitarian work in the north of the country.
He tells Tom Edwards of his anguish at how his children have never visited Syria, and the conditions Syrians had to endure.
