Disabled woman's debut novel sells out in 5 days
A book written by a young disabled woman to benefit a Leicester charity has sold out within days of its release.
Amy, who's 21 years old and from Nottinghamshire, has cerebral palsy and is profoundly disabled. She wrote and created her book Eye of the Storm to raise money for Leicester-based charity Bamboozle Theatre鈥檚 30th year celebration, having been part of the theatre family for 17 years.
The book has been endorsed by Leicestershire actor Bella Ramsey from Game of Thrones, who also wrote a Foreword for the novel which sold out in five days. After its sell-out success more copies have now been printed.
Amy's mum Iona, and Bella Ramsey, have been speaking to 大象传媒 Leicester's Ben Jackson.
